Super Bowl XLVII Live Blog First Quarter!

So, it is Super Bowl Sunday once again!  The game has just started, and I am very excited.  Not only do I get to watch all the great commercials, but I get to cheer on my favorite football team: the 49ers!  If you ask any of my friends, I hate gold, I am a silver girl, but today I am all red and gold, baby!  I have my SF sweatshirt, hat, and beads.

I have to say, I was nervous at the start of the game, the 49ers just seemed to be having a shaky start, and my worries were confirmed as the Ravens just scored a touchdown.  Thankfully, this is only the beginning.

Our first round of commercials, here we go!

Since there are usually quite a few underwhelming commercials, I will only be mentioning the ones I love.  As much as I’d love to comment on every single commercial, I don’t want to overwhelm you all.

M&Ms: Anything for Love-Ok, I absolutely love this commercial, but I am biased.  Meat Loaf is my favorite singer and I Would Do Anything For Love is a beautiful song, and I feel it is often misunderstood, or not understood at all.  I think the commercial is a little bizarre, especially seeing an M&M with a toupee, but I loved hearing the song.

Doritos: Goat 4 Sale-Pretty interesting commercial, I don’t think I ever remember seeing a goat in a commercial before.  I was very amused by the goat scream when the Doritos disappeared.

Best Buy: Ask Amy-This commercial was very amusing in this commercial, and some of her questions cracked me up!

So, that’s the end of the first quarter!!!  I’ll be back in a little bit for the second!

Way to go honey! Great job!  Randy likes your writing.  I told him you would like the m&m commercial when we saw it.
